Gina Rodriguez is o-v-e-r the drama of planning a wedding. So much so that she's almost ready to scrap the whole thing for the sake of keeping things simple.

"As of this Sunday, I feel like we're going to elope. It is so much drama!" she shared on The Talk Tuesday, per Entertainment Tonight. "There was a point where I was like, 'Everybody arrange everything. I just want to show up. I just want to do it. I want to say I do. I'm happy.' And then I started hearing what they wanted to do and I was like, 'Uh, I don't know about that.'"

Like many brides, Rodriguez can relate to other people having strong opinions about what she's chosen for her wedding day. "And then I started hearing about how… everything you do is offensive," she said. "If people aren't bridesmaids… it's crazy!"

Rodriguez confirmed her engagement to actor Joe LoCicero earlier this year, after posting a series of photos with a ring on that finger that had fans assuming LoCicero had popped the question during a trip to Mexico for the actress's birthday. "I have a very, very special man in my life. I am engaged,” she said in early August. The pair met on the set of Jane the Virgin, but didn't start dating until six months later after running into each other at the gym.

"It was serendipitous," Rodriguez said of the movie-worthy meet-cute.

In addition to gushing about her husband-to-be, the actress is also gushing about the gorgeous piece of jewelry he gifted her with. "Life is good. Love is good," she told ET at the premiere of her new movie, Smallfoot, last week. "He did great with the ring. He did great. Yeah, 'cause it's my style, right? That's all that matters. He knows what I like and he knows my heart and he rocks."

Whether Rodriguez and LoCicero decide to elope or stay the course and plan a big wedding, we have no doubt that it will be the day of their dreams.
